What is life? Does this sound like a strange question to you? Of course we all know what is meant by the word "life", but how would you define it?

life is so fragile.
life is unpredictable.
life is incomprehensive.
life is hard, we have to struggle our way through.
life-and-death struggle between union and management.
Life is a partial, continuous, progresive, multiform and conditionally interactive, self-realization of the potentialities.
life is to remove our fear and desires.

Ask yourself this. Do we have second life?
Did we success before in our whole life?
Do all living things move? Do they all eat and breathe? Even though we all seem to know what is meant by saying something is "alive", it's not very easy to describe what "life" is. It's almost as hard as describing where life came from.
What was life? No one knew. It was undoubtedly aware of itself, so soon as it was life; but it did not know what it was.
